th400 leak

Hello im ask to find a seal for my th400 transmission i have a chevy 85 c30 the leak is from the shifter on the drivers side ive found a few online but want to ask yall guys first no other leaks are found just were the shifter linkage goes into the trans ives changed the filter a few months ago and check it it was loose but its all good any info helps

What exactly do you mean by this?

The seal should be available by itself and can be changed without dropping the oil pan if you use the correct tool.

When i had the pan off i checked the bolt on the shifter shaft was loose but every thing is tight i was having shifting problems then but it was filter related im mainly looking for the seal but i can only find it on ebay

Pioneer 759022 or Napa NOS 4912 if the manual shaft (aka, shift shaft and selector shaft) wasn't grooved by the lip of the old seal wearing into it.

Napa NOS 480050 if the manual shaft was grooved by the old seal.

Thank you for the help going by the store tomorrow to see if thay have the part i dont do much parts shopping a napa but i can add them to my list thank you again for helping madey day and the truck can have the right part
