73-74 tailgate. You're missing the letters though. I have two NOS sets of the letters I am saving for two of my projects.

That is an old one for sure. Tough to find in that condition now. Congrats.
It's been a LONG time since I have been called a newbie. Just sayin....

I have one just like that and I thought it was worth less because of the missing letters. Also has the gmc stamping in the upper left hand corner like yours

They are definitely not worthless. It would take the right person to pay the right price obviously. But they are definitely not something to just toss away especially if its in good shape.

Obviously have the letters and band would make it worth more but as is.. I can't complain only paying $25 for it.
