Tracy Focht - I got a Question
« on: September 10, 2002, 10:00:00 PM »
I saw in an early post you work for Kicker.
I've been doing alot of searching for subs for my truck.
I have a 1985 Chevy K10.

It currently has the wrong seat, a 40/60 split bench from a early 90's chevy truck. So I'm not sure home much space an '85 with a stock seat has.

I'm currently running a Punch Z 10" in a small wedged box. I'm 6ft3 and my truck has a clutch, so I gotta have the seat back as far as I can. The 10 is being the 60 passenger bench, but I don't want it sitting way ahead of the driver seat (looks funny)

I would like to have two 10"s and get the most low bass possible, 12"s would be nice, but the depth is my biggest problem, the Punch Z is only 4.5 inches deep in the box, and a Comp or CompVR doesn't fit the box I have. I would like to make two custom boxes connected with a back board between them to mount two amps.

Any suggestions on subs?
Solo-Barics are suppose to be good in small enclosures right?
