Hooking up a factory tach cluster
« on: May 28, 2013, 08:19:33 PM »
I've got my eye on a factory tach cluster thats on local craigslist. My question is, if I can land it, do I just plug my connector into the back and go about my business or is there some wiring modification to do?

The tach cluster is a 73-75 judging by the ammeter, and it will be going into my 74.

Thanks in advance folks.

As long as the cluster is the correct model year: The only wiring that would be needed are for the tachometer. The dash cluster plugs directly into the tach cluster the same as the non-tach cluster.
