Front 3” drop springs .

Hi I just put front 3” drop springs on my 87 r-10 , and once all put back together spring was still loose unless I lower truck to ground , I’m guessing this is not right or normal , any ideas ? Thanks

How is the new ride? Did you also install lowering spindles or not? Did the truck drop the 3" ?

Haven’t drove it yet , weather in pa isn’t quite cooperative at the moment , I didn’t use spindles yet just springs and yes it drop the advertised 3” I believe
