Title: axle trusses
Post by: aprice on December 26, 2003, 09:36:00 PM
i'm kinda the do-it-yourself type of a person but i was wondering if anyone had made up thier own axle trusses or even if it would be need for my purpose. it would be for a 76 chevy 3/4 ton mudder. if i remember right the front axle is a danna 44 and the rear is a corperate 10 bolt. i know the rear axle will almost never break but should i worry about the front?

The rear on a 3/4T will be a 14 bolt not a 10.  The D44 fronts are pretty strong as long as you don't abuse it.  It really depends on how you plan to drive/wheel it.
