Stepside running board question
« on: March 17, 2018, 04:33:38 PM »
I have a 74 c10 stepside swb that's freshly painted. I bought new bed sides front bed panel tailgate the whole 9. My question is there some kind of felt that goes between the bed step and lower part of fender? Also what about between the bed step hanger and bed step itself. Note that common sense tells me that metal on metal contact isn't a good idea especially they have nice paint on them. Thanks for the advice

I've seen guys use seam sealer but I've never seen any type of gasket there.
