Lokar makes a shift lever assembly as well as Hurst but it looks easy enough to modify yours.

The gauges were a natural addition since I am a vendor for them.
Vile, I ended up getting the Lokar. With Christmas coming up I have been to busy shopping to get time to work on it. Hopefully this weekend.

Saturday, February 9th, 2013:
Finally with all the rain, sleet and snow and darkness gone, along with Christmas and Birthdays (minus mine) I am getting back on this one again...
Got out some welding wire and started plotting out the bends for the universal Lokar linkage. Got it figured out and then bent a stiff piece of wire and hooked it up and tested the travel checking all the gears. Commited to it and then bent the Lokar rod to fit. Turned out well and was able to shift through all the gears. (not running)

Saturday, February 16th, 2013:
Went and picked up a battery for the truck so I would stop swapping it between it and the Crew Cab. Bolted it up and cranked the truck. Found the water pump has a gasket leak, added it to the list.
Sunday, February 17th, 2013:
Cranked the truck up and put it in gear running for the first time. Added 9 quarts before cranking it previously and it wouldn't take anymore, so now was the time to top it off. After putting 5 more quarts in I actaully drove it out of my driveway and did a short burnout for excitement. No video as my wife wasn't at home. Now I just got to get the exhaust taken care off and the fuel fill...

I wish I could afford those gauges - l really like the way they look. I had looked at the video link and like the blue for my truck, just can't afford them right now.
I enjoy the progress pics and seeing what other people do. Thanks for the photos......

Thursday, April 4th, 2013:
Pulled out the Universal Turbo kit and started planning the routing and getting pricing on a shop to do the TIG welding for the aluminum.

Wednesday, Aprill 17th, 2013:
Just toying with ideas on where the intake and exhaust routing will go. Talked to the fab shop and they should be coming by to look how I want it routed:
For refernce, this is where they are going:
Friday, April 17th, 2013:
Fab shop owner dropped by and we discussed the routing and the details.
Saturday, April 27th, 2013:
After some checking around on prices I finally pulled the trigger and ordered all the necessary pieces to put the system together to get the truck drivable.

Thursday, May 9th, 2013:
All of the twin Turbo tubing finally showed up today! Nothing was backordered and it only took 2 days to get here after I called them everyday from the previous week trying to find out why it wasn't here yet...
Friday, May 10th, 2013:
Gilbert's Automotive
came by we talked about how I wanted everything routed and where I needed everything to do and we loaded the truck up on the trailer and they carried it off.

has been plugging away and has the exhaust inlet and outlet flanges done and the turbo is mocked into place for routing. The header flanges have been done also.
