Yup, I am putting the auto back in my 76... well, it is in as a matter of fact.  I went to grap my linkage that I got from the junkyard that goes from the collumn to the tranny and I seem to have lost the little plastic collar that goes over the top of the shift linkage at the collumn inside the rubber bushing.  Can I run without it for now or at least use the metal one I fabbed up from a radiator bushing on a ford?

use a nylon washer or rubber grommet.

I lost the one that goes from the linkage rod through the frame bracket. Does anyone sell this one?

I found out yesterday that I lost that one as well as the little one that goes in the steering collumn.  I actually found another one in my yard, it had been sitting in the grass where I parked the truck the first time I owned it several months ago.  I would check out the local salvage yards.

I called all over and no one has them.  I noticed at the same time that the "HELP!!!" items at Advance say on the back that they will reward you if they decide to begin to sell an item that you suggest.  I am going to get a few bushings from the local junkyard and send the company one explaining what it is and how hard they are to get and see if they will carry it.
