Title: Fuel Pump Question
Post by: wilrob on April 17, 2019, 09:04:31 PM
I am looking at ditching my saddle tanks for a rear mount. The blazer tank seems to be the most economical "stock" way to do it, but my question is can I use an external electric fuel pump with the stock sending unit/fuel pickup? I will be converting to EFI down the road but I don't want to run an internal pump.

Internal pump is the way to go. Why wouldn't you want to go this route?

i would go with a blazer tank out of a efi that way you get the whole package at once

Certainly not with my worn out 305, but when something else takes it's place it might...

Anyways, I asked because I am in between getting a blazer tank and using that, or getting the 20gal fuel cell from summit which has a sump so I would't need to use the stock sending unit anyways
