I was wondering if anyone has used 1/8 sheet metal to replace the rear floor or thicker metal. if so could i get some picks. thanks

I doubt anyone has done that. You could, but that is something like twice the thickness (or more) of the original. Welding new steel patches in will be easier and better all around with similar thickness sheet.
