I got my block back this week with new cam bearings installed. The rear has the hole at the bottom but does not seem to line up with a hole in the block. The front one has 2 holes and only the bottom hole lines up.Is this correct?????

i believe all the holes in the bearings should line up with the holes in the block. how else can the cam get lubricated?

After some surfing ,I've learned there is a groove in the block for the oil to flow through and come out the hole. Some say it can be anywhere, some say all the holes must be lined up,some say the hole only needs to be over the groove...

Well I put the engine together this weekend.Should be ready to install by next weekend.Hopefully the oil hole being over the groove will be OK.
