I have a 1978 2wd C10, V8 305 with a turbo 350 long tail transmission.
I found a nice running V8 350 with turbo 400 trans
Still in a 1976 Chevy motorhome.(drives great)
I was wanting to pull mine out engine n trans together.
And put the 350 n 400 trans in still together.
Does anyone know what obstacles, or changes I may have to make?
Thank you!!

I'll start by saying driveshaft modifications and kick down switch.

some of those trans from motor homes come with a brake of something on the tail shaft of the trans. maybe someone with better knowledge will be able to add in some better info then what ive given you.

Do a search on this site; lots of info on transmission models and measurements.

Measure from the front of the trans to the mounting point on the cross member. You may have to move it.

Everything else should work the same. S
