It replaces the current A pillar completely.  Trucks without a headliner won't have it but it will still bolt in.

I haven't been on here as much as I would like lately but I do have updates.
I have been working on this on the weekends and make a test set to get the dimensions/shape like I want it.  I feel if I am going to make these they are going to be useable as in the angle they are mounted has to be easily readable.  With that said here are the pictures of what I am working on.

This is the test mold in the beginning, checking spacing, angle, and geometry.

Glassed in

Deciding on the shape, (second one won)

Starting on making a mold, going to use pod #2 for all of them.

I will be interesting in any feedback you can provide.

Its looking great! I'm guessing it'll get smoothed up. Are those gonna be 2" or larger?

The picture with it IN the truck is just a mock up piece I put together to play with the placement and the form.  It is going to be smoothed in like what you normally see.  Like I said, it is just a test piece.  The bottom pic is the begging of making the real thing and a real gauge will be used to mock it up along with one of those pod on the test piece cut off.

The pods on the test piece is about 1/2" too long on the end.

Here is where I am as of today.  Yesterday I got the angle where I liked it and today I verified it was ok and glassed it in.  Put a gauge in it to give everyone a better idea of what it looks like.  Still need to clean it up and smooth it out to make the mold.
