That color looks nice on that truck!

I personally think a stock Silverado style 87 grille and headlight bezels with a white center grille bar would have looked awesome with the truck, but that custom grille looks pretty sweet also. I am anxious to see what this truck ends up looking like.

An ebay search for bowtie grill emblems shows a bunch, but you might have to paint one to match.

Took a few more quick pix, although they didn't come out that good I figured I'd stick em in here. If we get some nice sunny days back ever again I will get some nice ones that really show the color well.

That is one fine four wheel drive! You did a great job! I like your choices all around, I wouldn't change a thing but the oil.

I was bored so I photoshoped your grill. This is what it would look like if it was the same colour as your truck. If you want I can put a bow tie in the middle as well.

that truck is sweet man, you did an awsome job on it! Where did you get the kick panels with the speakers in it from?

That is a sharp truck Vile. What else are you planning to do to it out of curiousity?

Thanks for the compliments guys. The kick panels I got from this website however they are not the whole kick panel it's just the lower half like on the earlier models. I didn't realize this when I bought them. The one like   sells cover the whole kick panel. I had to cut my existing ones to match which was a pita but the came out pretty good. I think 73-80 only had the two piece kick panels. I bought my own speakers for them.

What else am I planning to do? I may put 35"s on it and want to paint the slots in the wheels to match the truck. Maybe a different hood down the road, going to convert it to EFI, going to put AC back in it, someone removed it before I got my hands on it. Converting it to Serpentine belt system, I need to replace the ride height proportining valve and brake cable too. Other than that, I plan on using this thing as a regular pick up truck. My GMC on the other hand is only used for picking up chicks LOL

Looks great, very clean look to it.
