Yellow Snow earning its keep.
« on: January 27, 2013, 01:30:15 PM »
Thirsty accused me of babying Yellow Snow last week.
Figured I would put up a few pics of some of its daily duties.
Cutting for some new power lines starting at the end of my road, heading east about a mile. The state and railroad right of way over lap the srtip of land, and the river along this stretch. Normally any trees cut would go to the land owner / abbuter. Since there realy isn't any in this case with permision from the tree company, or electric company its up for grabs.

First of 5 & a half loads.

Second load.

Shes got Trans Am fever, the rear end is saggin!

I forgot to take pics of the third, & fourth loads. They were about the same size as the second one, Third one had alot of large diameter birch, half or better of the fourth was red oak, & had  twelve 6" or 7" pieces that hung out the back 2' plus on the bottom. Judging roughly by the pile behind the shop I'm thinking 2 & 1/2 plus cords.
They still have about a 1/4 plus mile left to cut. See what I can't get next weekend.

When I said it's because you baby Yellow Snow, I meant that you use it like a real truck. ;D

Proof is in the pictures for anybody that doesn't know Blazin  ;D

Give me a long enough lever and a place to stand, and I shall move the earth or break this bolt...Whatever, just hold my beer!
