1987 v20 fuel problems, help!
« on: August 14, 2022, 01:35:05 PM »
Truck would not start. Couldn't hear fuel pump anymore, I put 12 volts to the pump pigtail, pump was no good, replaced pump with a new one, wouldn't start. Pump is not coming on, I replaced the relay on the firewall still doesn't turn pump on.  So I decided to see if it would start by jumping out the relay, pump turns on, but truck still doesn't start. It will over with starting fluid, which means it is not getting fuel. Seems like I have multiple issues going on. And input would be helpful

Found the problem, truck runs now. Power wire that comes from fusible link on fire wall was corroded and rotted through.   Which in turn made it so there was no power to fuse ECM B
