Best Protective Coating for frames and under body?

<< < (2/2)

Swampyankee74:
I got to try this molasses trick. Can you keep the mixture around for a while or does it go moldy?

JohnnyPopper:
You can keep it, it doesn't lose it strength.

Keep it covered though with the trash can lid.

B/C after you use for a while it smells like dirty gym socks.

Oh, and don't leave any parts longer than needed to clean them, B/C it will continue to eat the softer elements of ferrous metal, and softer things like sheet metal. Ask me how I know... ::)

Swampyankee74:
I like what I hear! In gonna set up what I call a brew pot and try it out. Gonna try it with parts I don't need. But looking at your pics it works wonders.

Captkaos:
I have used POR15 and Chassis Saver with good results for frames.
When it comes to underbody, on the outside I have primer sealed them and used rubber coating or raptor liner type spray on material.

Great information - thank y'all  :)
