i don't know it it has been mentioned but there is one that has a prominent role in "Boys don't cry."   i don't know if it is a shortbed 4x4 or a blazer with top down (is there really a difference?----oh wow....could be an underlying theme of the movie?)

The movie has a very sad ending, you may not want to watch it.  On the other hand i think we are mature enough to handle it.

i really think the 73-91 series pickup IS the most filmed pickup ever and has appeared in more movies than any other pickup and possibly vehicle period.

Someone mentioned the movie "Friday". Here is the dog catcher truck from "Next Friday". It's supposed to be a 89 V-3500.

I dont recommend anyone go in there for 35 to 45 minutes...

I noticed it's available to stream on Netflix. I may fire it up after Highballin's over.
Here's another one from the '70s

Last night during the Super Bowl, there was a Chevy commercial about the 2012 Mayan Apocalypse.
The Chevy trucks/drivers survived. One of them looked to be a late 70's model.
Oh yea, their buddy in the Ford didn't make it. :-)

There's one in "Home Fries."  A nice red shortbed.

Invasion U.S.A. with Chuck Norris.  Really, the only good thing about the movie was the truck, 1978 GMC Sierra Classic . :)
