Young moose

This 400 plus acre meadow is right around the corner from my house. There are almost always moose and deer out in it. These pics are of two young ones.
I was crossing the raod to get better pics, this one decided he had enough of onlookers. He decided to cross, when he did he ran right down the road directly at me!
At the last second when I was about ready to jump to one side he turned and ran into the woods.
Then he got all sneaky and thought he was hiding!

The trees off to the right in the distance. I grew up about 300 yards over the river, & through them.

I was fortunate to grow up on a farm. My parents had a tied cottage withy the farm job. cracking 40 acres to play in
learnt how to ride a motorbike and drive a car there
Now I live in a very busy town (full of imigrants!) with very little green
thats another reason I like over there - its huge!

Wasn't a farm but we had a few horses, couple dogs, a goat, & about 20 barn cats. 20 acres.
