Got 12" of snow dumped on us last night!!
-
Well it is still in the low 70's here in Sac, though I do like the snow.
-
I like the snow just fine, but not when I just mowed my lawn a week ago!!! Ground is way to soft. Plowing was a pain in the rearend!!!

Those who enjoy snow are those who never get it.

yea i can tell its going to be a good year for snow in north carolina normaly its still just getting down to the 60s here this time but now its getting below freezing
-
We just got power back up and running today! So many trees and power lines down. I feel bad for all the kids who wanted to go trick or treating and obviously couldn't.

I just moved to Anchorage, Alaska and we got our first snow Saturday night. I had to leave my square body in CA but here is my daily driver 4x4... bonus points if you can ID it :)

Eagle.
Nicely done!!! usually I get a response like "a messed up Jeep" or "I don't know what it is but it's ugly," I'm glad you know the classics
-
I haven't seen an eagle in about 20 years, but somethings you just don't ever forget...haha
-
Never forget the AMC Eagle....my parents had one when I was younger.
I believe it was a 1985 and they had it til around 1999 or so. Interesting cars I think.

The first dealership I worked at was Chevrolet, Jeep, Eagle, AMC, Renault! lol What a mix! The Eagle & Renault was dropped eventually but not quick enough!

It's a very interesting car. I have spent so much time and effort on mine it is kind of crazy to think about. It is lifted 3" it has a Jeep 4.0L engine which they never came with Factory. It has the matching Jeep AX-15 Manual trans and a NP242 case. I have 4hi and 4 lo which the Eagles never had. I have no idea why I like them so much but i do. I would love to start an AMC Eagle Shop because I think I have every nut and bolt memorized on the darn thing. The market segment is just a little narrow.

I brought my grandma's 79 AMC Concord home when she no longer desired to drive. It had only 17K on it. I had it for a while and did a couple of cruises in it but just didn't have that sentimental value so I sold it to an AMC nut and he sold it to some museum out in Colorado. I always thought the 4x4 version was neat.

there is a guy running around town now with one of them that has a bug shield on it that reads "poor mans hummer"

my grandmother had an early '80's AMC Spirit. I don't think i inheredited my 'car taste' gene from her, thank God. I do remember those Eagles--such a shame the name of our National Symbol went on such a vehicle.
-
isnt it also germanys?

Ouch. That is borderline offensive. This is a very capable snow vehicle and is a good driver. I'm sorry for your bad experiences with AMC in the past.
