Title: Will Headers made for an 1990 k1500 Fit to a stock 73-87 y pipe? (Both are 350s)

Hey Gents, sorry if this has been asked elsewhere. I am seriously looking at buying a 1984 C10 with a 350 as my next project. I have a set of shorty headers from a ‘90 k1500, that also had a 350 in it. The exhaust on the c10 has been replaced (cat deleted), and is in good shape, with the stock y pipe, back to the muffler being new. I Would like to put the headers  on without ruining a good exhaust. Will I have any fitment issues? Thank you very much!

Ed

I don't think you will ever bolt on a set of headers that will mate up to factory exhaust without fabrication. Nevertheless, it doesn't mean you can't easily make it work.

Appreciate the reply, Vile. I made an offer on the truck this morning, so as long as I can get the y and headers close, I will be happy.
