1974 Bed Wood DIY
« on: March 05, 2015, 12:39:59 PM »
Hey guys,

Looking to make my own bed wood for my short bed stepside. I have the tools and the help at the wood shop here in Delaware.  My only problem is I cannot seems to find the bed wood dimensions for this truck. I would assume it's the same as all other generations of GM bed wood trucks but I have not found any confirmation. Do any of you know what these dimensions are?

Thanks,

David

I used 2 1*6*8s and 5 1*8*8s.  I didn't have to trim the width at all.  Just measure the length, I don't remember what it was.

For the edges where the trim strips sit,  go here http://www.gmcpauls.com/47-72_BedWood_Info.htm
