which long tube or shorty or block huggers headers

hi has anyone used any after market headers on their truck (sbc)
i have a set of summit long tube but they look bad and are dented up ... whated to get ceramic or stainless for new motor but i dont want to buy some and have a big clearance issue ......i really want long tube ....i was told they produce more torque than short ........any pics would be nice

I have a set of Thorley headers and couldnt be more happier. They have thicker primaries and flanges and mine are plated. They are tri-Y headers, so they benefit torque.

Mud got burnt on them, but thats what a 4x4 is for...

     Hey beastie, how well do those headers fit in the frame rails, do you have any pics showing the frame rails and where the headers end under the truck ?

does anyone know if headers for chevelle or maybe nova will clear frame or firewall in these trucks

These are made for a 4wd, so the passenger side ends earlier than the driver side. I dont care for it as much but not a big deal.
Driver side:

It hangs just below the frame, but I have it heading right back up and over the crossmember.



Passenger side:

It ends at an angle flush with the frame and then turned back up and over the crossmember.
