Title: Mcgaughys
Post by: Swampyankee74 on August 17, 2022, 02:59:17 PM: I am looking to order a 2.5" drop spinal kit with brakes calipers and rotors. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with mcgaughys products? Are they decent? And also looking at a 4" drop shackle kit for the back, from Belltec. Again, is it a decent product?

Post by: LILT77 on August 17, 2022, 03:28:42 PM: Belltech is good and I had the same 4" shackle hanger kit on mine before I wanted to go lower and switched them out. No problems with it. I can't speak for the McGaughy's spindles as I went with Western Chassis, but I have heard that those spindles don't fit well with most 15" wheels.

Post by: Scott91370 on August 18, 2022, 02:37:05 PM: I've got the 2.5" McGaughy's on mine and they seem to be well made products. The only thing I found is that with anything over 2" spindle and factory 15" wheels you may get rubbing.
