Hello guys, so I’m doing a resto mod on a 76 c10 and I was wondering where the transmission vacuum line connects to on the engine. I’m not use to working on gas engines
TIA

Manifold vacuum, on the tee at the back of the intake.

Ok, I don’t have a tee because the engine was rebuilt at a shop. What does the other part of the tee go to?

It's just a manifold vacuum tap, all depends on what you are running for vacuum accessories. Wherever you tap in, you need full manifold vacuum not ported.

Ok thanks, one more question lol. I have never worked with a carb before so what ports do I hook the distributor vac line to and the vapor line to? And also the valve cover breather line?

It depends, most people run full vacuum to the distributor advance with aftermarket performance parts unless they are trying to be emissions compliant. Canister purge is usually timed and ported but not enough info on your setup to be specific.

I have a 454 with a brawler carb, and GM performance distributor
