I had the clear cover off my speedometer, to gently remove dust on the gauge faces. Unfortunately, the speedo needle/pointer had become brittle and split down the middle, with just a touch. I'm going to improvise some sort of replacement, but I need to verify the "0" position of the needle. The 80' speedometer first digit is 5(mph), however there is a small dash (-) prior to that. I assume that is the where to position my "new" needle. Bought this truck 3 years ago, and I'm ready to put it back on the road, .... but never looked closely at the speedo till now. Appreciate the help.
