Extended tip or no?
« on: November 06, 2011, 10:52:51 PM »
It's calling for R44ts for light duty, r44t for heavy duty.

On the TS, the tip is more extended, the T it's must more recessed into the plug.

Which one should i use?

Motor is a 77 305 bored out .30 over, slightly mild cam, and headers.

I will always go with what is recommended with the heads I am using. The safer bet would be the r44t as it would give you more clearance on your pistons you don't want to get too close and create a "hot spot". If, however, you have been using the r44ts I would stick with them. I am not speaking from experience on this, just what crosses my mind.

Im currently using r43ts, one stage colder than the 44's.

The heavy duty and light duty threw me off lol
