Hey all, planning on doing some lowering on my old '82 C10 this winter. I have decided to go 5/5 on it, as I don't do a lot of heavy hauling with it. I was wondering if anyone out there had a used set of 2.5" drop spindles that they were willing to part with. I'm on a pretty fixed budget on the deal (aren't we all) and want to do it right if doing it at all. I'm also looking to some C-notch plates for the rear. Bolt-on ones preferably. Another question that maybe someone can answer for me, the old truck has a 700R4 (I know the bad years), it works great other than fourth gear comes on really early and then it drops down into third really soon after, builds up speed to cruising speed and then drops back down into fourth. Why might this be? One person suggested TV cable, but I'm not sure that is the problem. Anyways, hopefully somebody knows what I'm talking about and can help.
