Electrical Wire Routing
« on: December 27, 2016, 12:49:53 PM »
I'm putting my interior back together, just a few quick questions on how the stock harness was routed.

1. the main gauge wire harness(plus whatever else is in that loop that comes from the fuse box-did that go over or under the steering column brace? or does it not matter?

2. there is a clip/holder on the bottom cluster of wires from the fuse box-where does that go? I know it loops under the steering column, but I can't seem to figure out where it(clip) would be mounted.

And I know there was something else...got distracted. I was positive I took pictures, I have some of almost everything else, except this-go figure. Thanks in advance.

Figured out the first one, goes over, the clamps are on the dash to hold it.

still need a little help with the second, here is a picture, I was fairly certain this bundle went under the column, but now I think it goes over, but I still don't see where this clamp goes.

Next thing deals with the defroster vent-what goes here? the inboard spots had a j-clip and a screw in it, but nothing in the outboard spots. kind of weird, figured if I put the screw back in the inboard spots, I would have done the same for the outboard ones? bolt and nut? hole is too big to run a screw into a j-nut.
