Tailgate panel (band)

Hi everyone,
Would anybody happen to have any leads on where I can find a tailgate trim panel for my 85 c1500. I check eBay and all of them are shot to heck. Really bad condition. I know here are hard to find in good shape. All online store are either back ordered or $500+. Just can’t afford that... any leads would be great. Thanks all!

They are what they are unless you find a good used one. If you are on a tight budget, sand, fill, prime and paint and or repair and wrap it in aluminum or chrome.

I lucked out and found one on an old ranch. I got it, took off the CHEVROLET letters, and replaced them with the GMC and SIERRA badges off of a 1993 model I got from a friend. I had to drill holes in my tailgate to make it fit, but it works.
