« on: November 12, 2022, 11:00:11 PM »
Anyone know where to get the original GM gold/Yellow trim paint such as the Chevy embem on the grille, horn button and hubcaps, etc…

The 134L Chrome Yellow is very close to the 1977 & Gentleman Jim color on side trim accents.

Some say the trim is ochre but I think ochre is darker than the 77 trim. Many including myself have used the caterpillar yellow with great results on trim and emblems.

The 134L looks a bit orange, but that’s a computer screen image. Anyway, the caterpillar yellow looks pretty good. Thanks for the info. It’s for the Chevy logo on the horn button, I can’t see purchasing a new aftermarket horn button for $40 just for a yellow Chevy logo. I’ll get the paint, and see how it comes out.

Ps.  never heard the term “ochre” before.

Ok VZ, the caterpillar yellow was right on, thanks for the tip! Aftermarket…$39.99,, Cleaning up the original equipment….priceless!

The last photo is final with a little touch of natural shine by maguires.
