C-30 Exhaust
« on: March 09, 2006, 12:50:00 PM »
Hi Guys,
I am having a heck of a time finding stock type tailpipes for my '78 C-30 dually.  Anyone know where I can find these pipes?  I don't want to spend a fortune (it's a work truck) and I can't go out the back because I've converted the bed to dump and the pipes would get in the way.  I could also use stock type round mufflers (at least that's what it had on it when I bought it) which I also can't seem to find.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jim

Your best bet is to go to an exhaust shop and have them make you a new exhaust. I don't recall a stock muffler being round on these trucks.

My K 30 has tail pipes just like a pickup. When they rot off though its getting the pipes exiting in front of the wheels. Tail pipes on work trucks always end up being bent into the tires.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
