would my dads 3/4 ton pull a trailer?

it doesn't have a hitch on it, but it does have a tow bumper. should i get a truck with a hitch instead? it's gonna be pulling a crew cab dually...

Well what's it got for an engine, trans, final drive, tires, etc.?

I wouldn't pull a truck with a bumper ball though, get a real hitch.

you can buy a hitch for that truck as long as it has a good drivetrain.

it has a 454 with a 700r4, but i no longer need a truck to pull the trailer, the guy i'm borrowing the trailer from said he will drive down there with his truck if i pay for gas

I would never tow with the bumper hitch, always use a frame mounted class 5 hitch.
