Good afternoon everyone , I’ve been slowly working on getting my truck back on the road one week end at a time , I ran into a problem when reinstalling the lower control arm one of the dowels on the bottom of the subframe is flattened where the lower control arm shaft aligns in place not entirely sure if the front suspension had been touched before but I can’t imagine it rolling off the factory line like that I mean the stock and aftermarket lower control arms both have those dimples on the shafts . I included the pictures below the round one is the passenger front and the flat one is the passenger rear . My question is what would be the wise thing to do at this point I was thinking maybe welding a nut a grinding it to match or is there a way to just replace the dowel ?please let me know what y’all think Thanks for you time.
