Altinator bracket problem
« on: June 27, 2016, 07:17:38 PM »
I've got my 350 going into the truck now and I'm kinda stumped on it at this point I see it bolts to one side of thermostat  housing a spacer from accessories  hole one passenger head and one straight to front of water pump and a L shaped bracket from bottom of pump up to bottom of altinator but it doesn't seem to be lining up good the top hole on pump looks like it needs a spacer very short maybe 1/2 inch this is the bracket I took off motor before rebuild only difference from before is the high flow pump but is still for the most part the same as old one any help would be appreciated  sorry for long post just wanted to clear up what I had going on

It's probably not going to work with that intake. You may want to look into a generic bracket for your alternator, like this one although it isn't as rigid it will work.
