Title: Picture of the day

This was from an off-road trip in the mountains near Hinton, Alberta in January 2008. I haven't gone out on any other good trips like this one since then, it was a very warm day for that time of the year and it couldn't have been better for the trip.

That was my 1989 Blazer with a turbo'd 6.2 diesel and 3/4 ton axles. 6" lift and 35x10.5xR16 tires. It was kind of a beater, but it ran nicely and was a pretty decent offroad rig.

as a kid I would always go to water front park and look at that ship. Memories...
Awesome! Now let's see some picks of that truck on the new bridge they built:-)

First two are truck going over the bridge, Third one is the ship from the truck on the bridge, fourth pic is the bridge from the Yorktown's flight deck.

Post by: peewee0413 on August 02, 2022, 05:52:49 PM: I talked myself out of afr 195 heads and put a 170cc runner head on my build, which is similar to one on the list actually. I did so because I was scared I'd have no low end torque. I should've went with a 190-195cc and I probably would've had the same crappy low end, and even bigger mid to high power. Probably 50 ponies worth I'm guessing. Bad on my part during the design phase. Still a good motor, can't complain. Won't second guess my backyard mechanic calculations next time.
