We were invited to a pot luck event at a local park.

Last sentence: "For those who are not vaccinated, please bring a negative test result for that day".

I would like to reply, "For those vaccinated, please bring a negative test result for that day, insuring you don't infect me"  ;D

Yes, Vile, it's definitely been an interesting year.  I'm not in a public school, but we still have been through it with quarantines, contact tracing, and online instruction.  Fortunately, we were able to resume a mostly normal year after the holidays.  And as of last Friday, we made it !

It's an atrocity! The teacher's union is saying they want to keep strict mandates! Who are they speaking for? I don't know any teachers including myself who want masks or mandates. Parents and students think it's a joke too. It's no different than the seasonal flu but we keep playing this stupid game. I'm so over it.

YOU are the reason most "rational" people Still ware masks..... I have two Daughters that are a Registered Nurse 23yrs and a Occupational Therapist 19 yrs that "DIDN'T" go into there fields to watch Patients DIE or make there Death more "Comfortable". When and if you Die I'll bet your last words are "I should have wore my mask",  remembering your last comments were "it's a joke" and were still playing stupid games. You people I wont shed a tier when they put you SIX feet in the ground. * * * * * My life is "Prolonged by wearing a mask". Its sad you don't think like me.

No disrespect intended, but... it's sad you think like you ...using your words, of course.

Every individual has a right to his/her viewpoint.  No one has all of the data, objectively, to act fully rational.  Media has agendas of social engineering and national disruption.  They will stop at nothing to achieve their purposes and are gaining ground.  If only they were intelligent enough to understand the ground they are gaining.  Believe what you will.  Think what you will.  Everyone dies in the end.  Until then, do you choose to live free or enslaved?

Everyone thinking the same is enslavement.

Well said bd! It is obvious where mikiesride is coming from. One side believes everyone should be free to choose and the other believes everyone better believe as they do and they say believe the science when they blatantly disregard the very science that states masks are ineffective with the virus. Then they also want to mandate everyone get the jab that is ineffective and is having serious side effects for many. I won't go on because everyone should have the freedom to think for themselves without having someone ridicule them.

For those convinced masks work, I offer this link for your reading pleasure and new thing of which to be afraid (mask plastic stuck in your lungs).
https://www.westernstandard.news/features/study-finds-plastics-found-in-masks-present-in-patients-lungs/article_056590f2-0615-5bc9-aab0-730e7704634e.html

Also, ever since it was discovered that the "vaccines" and especially the boosters are causing large numbers of death and disability I've been trying to convince everyone I know to go get boosted. I reassure them the government knows best and never in the history of our country has the government ever been wrong or lied to us. Get boosted today. Get boosted tomorrow. Get boosted every month. Heck, our President has 2 shots and 2 boosters. He has only had Covid symptoms for several weeks this latest time.

I got it a month ago.  no vaccine.  First day all my joints ached like heck.  after that it was like a bad cold or minor flu.  I have had ear problems all my life, so its affected my hearing.  I think I lost 1/3rd of my hearing and I can't hear where things are.  My taste went away for a few weeks but came back, but wierd.  I call it the inappropriate smells.  one day i walked into the garage and it smelled like baking cookies.  my car smelled like coconut suntan oil.  neither of them smell like that.  I;m fine now, I'm glad I never had the vaccine.  I never will take it.  That being said, Do what you do.  If it makes you feel better go for it homie.

Also, I finally got a new iPad Air 5th gen. I’m back. So what’s been going on here the last two years? Lol
