Getting too old for bouncing

One thing that is different about the Bilstein rear shocks for our trucks, is that the frame mount is incorporated into the shock. I thought that kind of weird, but after I got over that, I like it. My right, rear frame mount was messed-up and loose. The nut on it was really hard to get off. With the new mounts you only have one nut to tighten on the top end and it is a nice flanged nut. Whenever you replace them you basically get a new shock mount with it.

I did have to grind down the lower sleeve a bit to get them to fit inside my axle mounts. They were a little bit wide and it was easier to grind down some length than try to spread the mounts on my axle.
