73 C10 Ammeter to Volt Gauge Conversion

The ammeter in my son's 73 C10 was not working, so per the suggestions here on the forum, we decided to swap in a volt gauge from a newer truck.  It works very well, and we are very happy with it.

Although we made a few mistakes, we finally figured out a very easy way to do the conversion, so we documented it.  You can download it here:
