Buddy of mine, mobile welding truck. Painted them once before, but he had the body repainted under warranty. Been bugging me for two years to repaint the stripe!
I tried to take detail pics to show the steps.
Strait shot of fine line tape, some masking tape.
Shows at each cabinet door the gap left when the tape is cut to wrap around the edge.
Gap filled in.
Masking around the edges.
Other side, Tape scraps have measurements from other side.
Leading edge of stripe.
Starting the layout for the trailing edge.
Detail pics of first side.
Scuffed & masked up.
Hit all the edges first.
