Cam/Valve Spring Question
« on: February 10, 2013, 09:06:53 PM »
I get my block and vortec heads back from the machine shop tomorrow and am installing an RV cam into the motor. the specs are

204/214
278/288
421/444

Will the stock vortec springs be able to handle this cam? I do not get into my truck hard so it will probably never see redline.

Probably, but you should contact your cam manufacturer. They should have a tech line that will tell you what you need to know.
