in progress updates.. truck will look like crap body wise but mechanically 100 %, all new bushings cab/chassis/suspension.. new eaton limited slip with yukon 4:11 gears,th350 with 3800 stall, gen vi 454 with mark vi '049 heads,and some other goodies....kinda wanna get it running then work on small stuff on weekends so i have something to do,but still be able to cruise on nice days....

Looks good, and I agree with your thinking. Id rather drive an ugly truck than push one that looks good.

looks good, gonna put some big tires on it? that's a lotta gear for a 454, might go up in smoke even with a limited slip

Nice drive train set up. I run an Eaton posi with Yukon 4.10's in my truck also. Yours will be a rocket around town. As for the highway, well it sounds like you have a MonteCarlo also. Good luck with it
