Peace be unto all
I recently had 3.73 gears on my truck and had them removed because they were pushing to many rpm’s into the engine on the highway, so I went back to the original gears that came on the truck which is 2.73 and I lost sum horsepower such as a fast take off from stop sign to stop sign, but the truck drives a lot better with 2.73. By the way I’m on a th350 transmission.
So how can I use my 3.73 gears as everyday gears on highway and etc?

Probably the best bet would be to install an over drive tranny.
Back in the day that would have been something like a 700R4.
That would give you a .70:1 OD gear, in effect turning your 3.73 to a 2.61
Not sure about the modern stuff.
Good luck!

two options one being like Ronno said or you can try and find a 'gear vendors overdrive unit'. if your 2wd it wont be had to have it working but a 4wd is a little funner. you might be able to find a used one, and you dont want to use a gear vendor on a OD trans
