While removing my spindle for ball joint replacement. I accidentally damaged near the bearing surface. Is this too much damage to re use?

Also, any tips on removing this steering knuckle that is so corroded i feel it may be welded onto the axel (sarcasm).

File it and you will be okay. Looks like you mashed the stud with a hammer for the steering arm. If you are trying to remove it, you need to remove the cone washers first.

Im trying to remove the steering knuckle. I wont be upset if i cant get the steering arm off

Guess I looked too quickly at your picture. Hit the pickle fork with a BFH or use an air hammer. You can also strike it on the X a few times

It looks like you got one cone washer off, but there are three more in place. When I removed my steering arm I had to break those washers loose before the arm would come loose. IIRC, I used an old wood chisel and penetrating oil to get under the flange of the cone washers and break them loose. Once I had a little space under the flange of the washers, a hammer worked to break the arm itself loose.
You are also supposed to use new locking washers when you reinstall the arm. NAPA did not have any the right size at the time, so I used Red Locktite instead. Later on I found the right locking nuts at a hardware store, but have never gone back and installed them.
