Found behind the glove box
« on: October 24, 2020, 07:40:52 PM »
Hi All,

I was taking apart the dash for painting. When I removed a few panels I found thses two items hanging.
Any ideas what they are and where they attaches to?

Thank you in advance!

What two items? I downloaded your pic, which looks like the cruise control wiring.

This vacuum hose goes to the diaphragm in the passenger kick panel.

The vacuum hose you found has a T in it because it goes to the kick panel vacuum motor, and also the cowl intake vacuum motor.

When A/C is in recirculate (or Max) mode it opens up the kick panel door to pull air in from the cab, and closes off the cowl intake to about 80% so you get very little outside air drawn in.
