ooh I like that! I have the newer 91 radiator support going on there. I wonder how that would look? I was going to black that out too with the exception of the bowtie which will be a lumilogo

A nice charcoal to use is GM Slate Grey. I had the removable top on my 81 Jimmy 2wd painted that color. It would have been the current Slate Grey at the time (1992). Lots of metallic in it.

Another idea is if you like charcoal is to go with a heavily-loaded metallic black. The rest of the body on my Jimmy was metallic black and it looked black at night but charcoal when any kind of sun was on it. I loved it. I don't know what kind of color it was though as I just told the paint shop to make it metallic black with lots of metallic. A modern metallic black I really like is the Chrysler Brilliant Black pearl coat. My color looked even more charcoal in the daylight than that does though.
85 Chevy Silverado C10 short, wide, yellow, 2wd. Lowered, 60-over 350 with Dart Iron Eagle heads and Comp Cams XE268 cam, TH350 w/ shift kit, 3.40 Gov-lok 12 bolt.
