Vacuum line replacement-all
« on: December 10, 2023, 11:59:36 AM »
Do you guys have any idea what sizes and how much vacuum line I’ll need to buy to replace all of my lines? Truck sat for 30 years so the lines that are there are brittle and cracked, so I want to get them all connected and eliminate leaks before I mess with carb tubing and timing and stuff.

Originally Super smog (2 AIR pumps ABD 2 vapor canisters.)

I googled u til my head hurt and really don’t have a good answer yet. I don’t mind a couple trips to the parts store.. But I don’t want to waste time back and forth all day. Or get caught up halfway through the job. Lol.

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you are replacing them all, you'll need all of the sizes. Get one of these assortments https://www.amazon.com/Ucreative-Performance-Automotive-Silicone-Diameter/dp/B0BKKPKST5

Thanks!

I actually had one of those in my cart but wasn’t sure I’d have all the sizes I needed.

Now, should I get the 5 ft pieces and chance the O’Reilly has some for me to finish if I run out?

Or buy the 10ft pieces and just have a bunch extra laying around. Hmm
