auto hub sealing ring
« on: September 05, 2018, 12:26:55 PM »
1985 GMC Sierra K1500.  I'm replacing the wheel bearings.  When I removed rotor, I found this damage on the passenger side spindle.  Do I need to replace the spindle?  Thanks for your help.

nothing rides on that "dent" you are concerned about. the surfaces where the bearings do ride look awful though and maybe you should get new ones but be prepared to get ripped a new one for replacements.

And make sure there are no high spots around the edges of the damage.
