So I picked up a pair of Ridgid Industries racing bucket seats that were designed for a UTV from a friend of mine. That fit me pretty well and she gave me the old harnesses as well. I pulled the slider tracks off my bench seat and attached them to the bottom of the seat and put it in the driver side of the truck with a chunk of box tubing to space the front inside mount. Its at a great angle and it quite comfortable all the way back. Only problem is that with the factory sliders, the seat is wayyyy to high up. My knees drag on the steering wheel (non tilt) and it makes it difficult to reach the clutch. Im trying to find a good way to mount the seats with box tubing, but I would like access behind the seat. It would be quite difficult to make sliders out of box tubing, but I was thinking of trying to make a hinge setup, or a quick release so I can pull the whole seat out. Anyone got some ideas?
